Time for Celebration!! My latest single is OUT NOW

Hello wonderful lovely people,

Today is a big day because “I Find You Interesting”, my second single of the year is out!!

“I Find You Interesting” was written in April last year when I was sick with a cold and itching to sing and write. Every moment that happens in this song I can picture in my head because the images are what I started with. Someone sitting at a bar, in a cinema, a locket necklace around their neck. To me, the song is incredibly visual. Thanks to my friend Foreveruntil who helped with the songwriting process, the story ended up becoming one about curiosity. Centring around someone who is introverted, mysterious and potentially a little lonely and a narrator who finds them so interesting yet struggles to form a connection.

The process of recording this song with Ben Irawan and Aaron Dobos at Sing Sing Recording Studios was some of the most fun I’ve had in a studio. Because we wanted a “live feel” we set up the drums (Augustus Stephenson), electric guitar (Linus Mackie), electric bass (Ben) and acoustic guitar/vocals (myself) in one room and recored the song together. It’s surprising how little this is done anymore! Let’s all thank Ben for that genius idea because it’s why the song is so boppy and dancey. I’ve always wanted to create a song that forces you to tap your feet… and I think I might have done it with this one… well idk! You can let me know haha

Anyways, super duper proud of this one. Wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone involved, and to IgniteLAB for helping fund the project, wouldn’t have happened without all of you.
